Rates as advertized by Amazonat Jungle Lodges are in U.S. $

Packages include

Transfers

All our packages do include transfers from and to airport or to hotel in Manaus.
Start and completion of all packages is based on airport arrivals in late morning and early afternoon. Hotel pick-up is around 11.00 a.m. in lobby. Ultimate departure time to Amazonat Lodges is 2 pm. Late afternoon and/or evening arrivals are subject to extra charge. Consult at time of reservation. Amazonat Jungle Lodges cannot be hold responsible in case of late flight arrival delays. Amazonat Jungle Lodge beholds the right to cancel city tour and/or Meeting of the Waters trip without reimbursement when departure travel schedule is in jeopardy.

Full Board, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lunch on day of arrival is not included.
Accommodation
Bilingual guide. (Max. 6 guests per guide)

Not included are beverages in bar, use of telephone and internet, these are subjected to extra charge.

Children sharing apartment with parents.

Children 5 years or less are free of charge.
Children between 6 and 12 years have a 60% discount on the Single Occupancy rate.
Children between 13 and 16 years have a 40% discount on the Single Occupancy rate.
Maximum 2 children

50% of Single person package rate.
Extend of stay – Rates per night per person: (tours not included) based on full board.

Standard apartment; $ 100 per person, double occupation. $ 150 for single occupation
Deluxe apartment; $ 200 per person, double occupation.

Additional guided tours

Private guide U.S. $ 150 per day

Shared tours (max. 6 persons per guide); Forest exploration $ 75 , Urubú River $ 125 and Amazon River $ 150

Deposit

A deposit of 50% is required within 7 days of confirmation. Remainder is due 45 days before arrival. If confirmation date is less than 45 days from arrival date, total amount is due within 7 days of confirmation.

Bank details instructions to be provided by Amazonat Jungle Lodges at the time of reservation.

Credit Cards accepted are Master Card, American Express and Visa on request.

Cancellations and Refunds

More than 60 days prior to arrival: full refund minus a $100 administrative fee.
60-30 days prior to arrival: 50% refund.
30 days or less prior to arrival: no refund.
Premature departure; no refund

Luggage Limits

The same weights as is advertised with all International Air Carriers max. 30 kg, or 2 pieces of luggage per person.

General Information

Amazonat Jungle Lodges is located 160 kilometers (100 miles) east of Manaus and is reached in a two hour driving time by car from the international airport of Manaus. In route to the Lodges, small scale farming will be observed that is allowed by the government like citrus, banana and pine apple –mono- cultures. Deforestation alongside the dead ending road is consided minor by environmental scientists.

Check in

Upon arrival in the lodge the guest is welcomed by our receptionist is offered a Welcome drink and will receive a short briefing about the upcoming activities by the guide for the days to come. The guests will be asked to complete a governmental document and will be checked in the accommodations reserved for.

Accommodations

All our accommodations are built under the International Ecological Standards and are carrying the F.S.C “Smartwood” label. Amazonat Jungle Lodges is providing 9 duplex apartments that are laid out in a park like settling and are totalling 18 units. There are 16 units that are offering a standard conditions and 2 upgraded units that are provided for a public looking for a more exclusive accommodation.

All standard apartments are offering a queen size and single bed in a room that further offers a small bar refrigerator , ventilator, small safe and a secluded bathroom that provides hot water.

To keep the guest in close contact with Nature, as this forms part of the Amazonat philosophy, windows and doors provide screens rather then glass. Amazonat Jungle Lodges accommodations do not provide airconditioning! Per definition nights in our region are always cool, sometimes difficult to accept after having experienced a hot day.

The Deluxe apartments are built with the aim of comfort and specific for honeymooners or visitors preferring a bit more comfort.

Illumination

Trails connecting the apartments to other buildings in the infrastructure of the Lodges etc.are illuminated during the night. With the last guest returned to his or her apartment trail illumination is switched off.

Restaurant

The Lodges’ restaurant named Arara’s” is specially dedicated for the guest looking for more then the average food that is normally provided in similar jungle operations.. The presence of Leonardo Monteiro, an agronomist formed and working on his doctorate at Inpa choose Amazonat Jungle Lodges to show his qualities of rare culinarial topics in the Lodge then rather one of the gastronomical top-10 restaurants in Sao Paulo he is frequently invited to.. Mushrooms and other ingredients taken from the forest are mandatory for Leonado’s culinary adventures. In addition our Chef is implementing his ideas of medicinal gardens in combination with apiculture where is practised with stinging free bees. All ingredients used are fresh from our garden and/or acquired from the nearby region, including a variety of fish.

The bar is offering a selection of international selected liquers, beers wines and softdrinks.

Trails

within the vast infrastructure of the urbanized part of the Lodges a number of walking trails are laid out that are inviting guests for a stroll in the early morning or late afternoon when free of activities. Trails that connect orchids parks with two lakes, a swimming pool that is illuminated during the night and the Library building. In addition these trails also will demonstrate the presence of thousants of local fruit trees that provide the Lodges with fruits often used for refreshing juices.

Inside the primary forest , that only is allowed to enter under the accompanyingship of one of our qualified guides, a length of 24 km’s of trails are laid out including informative boards with informative tips. All these trails are connected to Jane’s Place , a survival camp inside the pristine forest providing sleeping comfort for 16 persons in hammock. The small stream passing by provides a cool and welcome relaxing feeling after a day of trekking.

Water at Amazonat Jungle Lodges is of mineral water quality and is found in and outside the Lodges that includes the accommodations. Drinking of bottled water is not neccessary. . Electricity is provided 24 hours per day, 110Volts-60Hz. Inside the apartments. In addition 220 volts is available too for people requiring this.( not in apartments) Television (Sky) is available near the restaurant. Wifi is available in the service area like reception building and restaurant..
